ACCOMMODATION – Accommodation will be available from 4pm from the start date of your arrival (subject to unavoidable delays) departure before noon. Please let us know if you have other requirements as we aim to be flexible.
ON ARRIVAL -A check-in form must be completed with a depoit of £100 taken to ensure any damages, paid back 24 hours after departure. No money otherwise be deducted.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT – Accepted methods of payment includes credit card (2% charge) Paypal (3.5% charge) debit card free. A deposit of 25% is required to secure date. You must be 21 before we accept a booking. Balance of payment is due on the 1st of the month prior to your visit (i.e visit 23rd Sept, your full balance is due no later than the 1st of Aug) non-payment of balance by due date will result in your accommodation being available for letting. No reminder will be issued for final balance and deposit non-refundable. Deposit is non-refundable for cancellations.
SHORT BREAKS – Please note short breaks are available min 2 night stay, 1 night in winter months.
GROUP BOOKINGS – Group bookings must be made in the name of one appointed person who will be the person responsible for the group and making payments. Min guests 19
DEPARTURE – Please leave your accommodation neat and tidy with all rubbish in appropriate bins. Please leave kitchen and communal areas neat and tidy. Please report and damages or breakages before you leave.
CHANGE OF PROPERTY – The accommodation you originally book may change due to unavoidable circumstances, we reserve the right to change the accommodation but your alternatives will never be downgraded. In the event of the property becoming unavailable for any reason beyond our control every attempt will be made to make other suitable arrangements or all payments will be refunded.
LOST PROPERTY – We will not be held responsible for any items left behind or lost property, we would like to ask the guests to ensure all belongings are with you before your departure.
SMOKING – Is strictly prohibited in all properties with plenty of designated area to allow smokers to enjoy.
DRUGS – We have a zero tolerance and police will be contacted should we have any suspicion of drugs on the premises
DOGS AND PETS – The farm has livestock and pets, therefore, it is with regret we ask you leave your pets at home.
VECHICLES – With a large secure parking area, we do not take responsibility for any damages.
COMPLAINTS – Our aim is to have no complaints, but should you be dissatisfied, our priority would be to remedy the issue immediately. Under no circumstances will any refund be considered if we have not been given the opportunity to rectify any problems during the visit.
WEATHER – There is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing, so please be sure to dress appropriately.
SAFETY – Whilst we have attempted to make every effort to ensure your safety, hopefully we should eliminate any accidents. Responsibility for your well-being and that of your children lies with you.
COT/CAMPBED HIRE – Please request cot/camp bed at the time of booking. Glasgow Glamping do not provide the bedding for cots. We cannot guarantee availability without pre-booking.
BEDDING AND TOWELS – Please note, bed have throws, but you are require to provide your bedding i.e. sleeping bag/duvet etc. Towels are not supplied. Please remember you are camping and will need winter weight sleeping bags.
CHANGE OF ADVERTISED SERVICES OR FACILITIES – Glasgow Glamping reserve the right to vary or withdraw any on site services or facilities as advertised without prior notice.
Groups who still have to confirm exact numbers on booking are required to do this as soon as possible with time allowed for this at our discretion. We reserve the right to cancel any provisional booking 2 days after the initial enquiry in the absence of any written confirmation and/ or deposit amount.
Groups whose numbers decrease after initially booking should inform us of this as soon as it becomes known. If insufficient or no notice of a decrease in numbers is given before arrival, the hirer becomes liable for payment of all bed spaces booked for duration of stay.
Large single-sex male or female groups are not generally accepted. Exceptions to this are: school/ college/ University groups on official field trips, recognised activity clubs, armed forces & emergency service groups or any other official/ governmental organisation, mountain rescue teams, community/ church groups and outdoor instructional/ corporate training courses. Acceptance may be given to other group types on an individual bases.
We reserve the right to decline any booking. In this case no reason will be given, any balance amount already paid shall be refunded in full, and the contract shall be discharged without further liability on either party.
We reserve the right to decline a booking or to refuse entry to accommodation to any person(s) or group who in our opinion, are not suitable to occupy. We provide free WIFI. We cannot guarantee this service or compatibility with your equipment.
We reserve the right to repossess the accommodation at any time where any damage, inappropriate behaviour or excessive noise has occurred. In such a case we shall not be liable to make a refund of any portion of the balance amount already paid.
We cannot accept any form of abuse directed at our staff wither verbal or physical. Our response to this is to immediately call the Police.
If we are prevented by any circumstances beyond our control from making the accommodation available on the day of hire commencement, and cannot provide a suitable alternative, we will refund all monies already paid, but no further liability shall be accepted.
We accept no liability for loss or damage to any personal property whilst on-site. Relevant insurance precautions for any unforeseen eventuality should already be taken.
As far as the law allows, Glasgow Glamping takes no responsibility for loss, damage or injury to you or any of your party as a consequence of this agreement or the occupancy following thereon.
The hirer has ultimate responsibility for the treatment of accommodation by their party during the period of hire, and is expected to take all necessary care. The hirer agrees to pay the necessary amount to rectify any damage to accommodation or to replace any lost or damaged items within accommodation caused by any member of their party. Unsuitable or inferior replacement items are not acceptable.
The hirer undertakes to leave the hired premises secure if left unoccupied during the period of let and to allow access by the owners or their employees for the purpose of maintenance, cleaning or any other reason the owners deem appropriate.
We ask that noise be kept to a minimum during night time hours (after 10:30pm). We give one warning then call the Police. We reserve the right to terminate your stay if you or any of your party cannot abide by this, NO refunds will be given.
We ask that your accommodation be left in a reasonably clean and tidy condition at the end of your stay.
Tampering with any Fire Safety Equipment is a Criminal Offence. We reserve the right to report any incident to the Police and charge the hirers card (£50 minimum) for any damage of Fire Safety Equipment not related to a real incident.
The maximum number of persons occupying the accommodation is as per the number stated when making the booking. We are not obliged to accommodate additional group members whom arrive at any other time unless (a) we have been made aware of their arrival beforehand by the Hirer, or (b) there is suitable accommodation still available. We reserve the right to terminate the hire without notice where no notice of any increase in group numbers has been given by the Hirer to us.
Any disputes shall be settled in accordance with Scots Law.
It is perhaps not widely known that a reservation made with an accommodation provider constitutes a legally binding contract, with obligations on both parties. in the event of having to cancel their reservation, the hirer can be held liable for payment of the full balance, regardless of the circumstances behind the cancellation, should the accommodation provider wish to do so.
In the event of cancellation of a booking with Glasgow Glamping, any deposit amount paid is non-refundable.
In accordance with accepted practice, an account for the remaining balance may be rendered by us to the Hirer if the accommodation cannot be re-booked.
The Hirer will be liable for any outstanding balance should they decide to leave the accommodation earlier than the previously booked departure date.
We recommend acquiring personal travel insurance, to potentially minimise the above liabilities. If you have not already done so.
